Mark Handin

MANAGING PRINCIPAL / BOARD MEMBER

Mark Handin brings over 20 years of commercial real estate industry experience and more than $1 billion in acquisition and disposition experience. As a senior executive at BPG, he is responsible for overseeing the firm’s overall strategy, operations, and long-term direction, including investment strategy, capital allocation, organizational leadership, and platform growth.

In this role, Mr. Handin provides executive oversight across the firm’s investment, asset management, and operational functions, ensuring alignment between strategy and execution. He plays a central role in shaping the firm’s investment thesis, guiding portfolio strategy, and cultivating institutional capital relationships. Office acquisitions represent a key component of his responsibilities, where he leads sourcing, underwriting, business plan development, investor engagement, and joint venture structuring.

Following acquisition, Mr. Handin oversees execution of approved business plans across the portfolio, driving performance, accountability, and value creation. He currently oversees approximately 4 million square feet of office assets across Northern California, Southern California, Nevada, and Arizona, and brings full deal-cycle experience spanning acquisitions, asset management, and dispositions.

Outside of work, Mr. Handin enjoys spending time with his wife and daughter, exercising, golfing, and being with family and friends. He also serves on the Charitable Board of QueensCare, a 501(c)(3) public charity dedicated to providing healthcare services to underserved communities in Los Angeles.

Mr. Handin holds an MBA and Master of Real Estate Development (MRED) from the University of Southern California, and earned a Bachelor of Science in Finance from the University of Arizona, where he was a member of the University of Arizona Rugby Team.
