British Petroleum (BP) was seeking a new Houston headquarters and sought to partner with a major developer.

Solution

BPG was successful in winning a competition amongst other leading national developers to join venture the acquisition of land, financing, and development.

During a period just following the real estate "wipeout" in Houston, BPG was successful in developing a first-class project in which BP leased approximately 70%. By completion in 1992, the project was 100% leased.
